Beautiful couple who have known each other since they were kids are now engaged to be married (Photos)

 


 In a fresh version of the popular internet trend, #HowItStartedVsHowItsGoing, a lovely couple who have been acquainted since they were kids have warmed the hearts of many on social media as they are now engaged to be married.


Photos from the moment the lady said yes to her beau after he proposed marriage to her, over the weekend were shared on Twitter and tweeps have been nothing but awed by their lovely story.


The lady, Nimi with handle, @nimzkoko shared some photos on the microblogging app and gave it the caption

While carrying out this action, he indicated that he has been using the Holy book as his toilet tissue for close to 3 months. Identified as Udummiri Nwakalu from Onitsha, Anambra State in Nigeria, he took to Facebook to post these photos. Sharing the photos, he wrote; “Britain I am no longer afraid of the book you used to enslave my people, I tore it in the public today, I have proven to many that it’s just a book and words of men. On this day I liberated thousands of people from fear and chains. I am a proud fighter, we must continue to fight modern day colonialism.
